Cindy reveals all about her book ‘addiction’

And why she has no intention of breaking her habit

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for your regular book recommendations! I don’t have the time to read as much as you do, but I appreciate them for when I need holiday reading. How do you read as much as you do? And might there ever be a Cindy’s Book Club?

Aaaaahhhhhh……this is where I have to reveal the full scale of my book ‘addiction’. But first….let me explain where it started.

As you’ve noticed, I am a voracious reader. Reading is actually my favorite leisure activity - well, after sex 🙂 But what I mean by that is, I prefer reading over watching, and to relax, I will pick a good book first and foremost over anything streaming anywhere. 

My love of reading began the moment I learned to read, and was fed by my father, who encouraged me to read adult as well as children’s literature. It’s Gallop family lore that I was reading Shakespeare sonnets at the age of five 😂 I devoured book after book,
